Purple 17 is a very classic perfume for men, handmade with natural oils of the finest quality. Scent&Colour fragrances are vegan, not tested on animals (Regulation EC No 1223/2009), and follow all the European regulations by being registered in the CPNP (Cosmetic Product Notification Portal). The natural ingredients of this perfume have been evaluated according to COSMOS standards for natural and organic cosmetics.
This elegant perfume is really a skin scent from start to finish. The opening is a blend of lemon, bergamot, rosemary and sandalwood. Later the fruity notes, jasmine, basil and spicy notes emerge and finally the vetiver makes an appearance. The overall effect is that the perfume is more green and herby than citrus dominant. The perfect perfume for a gentleman, an all-time classic.
At the moment, you will receive this perfume in a glass bottle. However, we are re-introducing the aluminum refillable bottle in 2021 so once you finish your scent, you can send back your bottle in the post and we will top it up for you in the perfume studio. This way we avoid using a new bottle every time, which reduces waste and contributes to a cleaner planet!
This premium scent has at least 14% essential oils, which classifies as eau de parfum, which lasts much longer on your skin than an aftershave. You will be able to smell the scent for hours once you apply it.
Unlike most fragrances on the market, this perfume does not contain propylene glycol, a chemical that is frequently used in perfumery to make the scent last longer on the skin. This substance is likely to cause rashes and irritation. Although this scent has been around the 60s, it has a truly timeless aura around it. This is a fragrance that inspires charisma and confidence. This classy ‘smell-alike’ perfume based on eau Sauvage is a great piece of work. Extremely similar and very good performance.
